the road to recovery

It has been a month since my surgery.  The healing process has been a lot more than anyone (including my doctor) expected.

I want to make this very clear! I trust and appreciate my doctor and his nurses with my care.  They are exceptional and have treated me with the upmost love and dignity!  I could not ask for better blessings in my care!  Baptist St Anthony's 3rd floor nurses and staff are incredible!  Harrington Cancer Center chemo nurses are angels! (oh how I loved huggin them all yesterday)  I could never THANK all of the hearts and hands that have helped me enough!

I continue to pray for strength in my healing, and guidance on what decisions I have ahead of me.
I know I mention it often, but this cancer has NO PROTOCOL, no cure, and no known cause.  Knowing what is next, or what is the right thing to do isn't exact.  But I DO believe in the power of prayer.  It has given me the strength and courage I've needed this far, I know it will continue to strengthen me and guide me.

I posted this video to face book after my second visit to the hospital.  I was looking through photos on my phone and decided to share my little road to that point.  Of course, I could add many more to it, now, but I'll just leave it like it is.
