Had to share some beautiful quotes today. I always thought I was living, but having cancer has opened up all the ways I really want to LIVE! I do look at life and moments differently. Maybe that is the gift in this tragedy. My faith has been more than powerful, my family closer, my friendships are more meaningful, and my WILL to fight stronger.
“Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.
Life is beauty, admire it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it.
Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is luck, make it.
Life is too precious, do not destroy it.
Life is life, fight for it.”
― Mother Teresa

"Does it hurt?”
“Sometimes. When you are Real you don’t mind being hurt…It doesn’t happen all at once. You become. It takes a long time. That’s why it doesn’t happen often to people who break easily, or have sharp edges, or have to be carefully kept. Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don’t matter at all, because once you are Real, you can’t be ugly, except to people who don’t understand.”
The Velveteen Rabbit by Margery Williams
Just realizing how REAL I am, and how LIFE has made me REAL.
Thank you all for your care, and my continued support in my blog. I never would have imagined I would have this many readers.
